Last month, my wife and I spent a week in Puerto Los Cabos at the Secrets Resort. From beginning to end, the trip was incredible. If anyone is looking for a getaway, I highly recommend this resort!

Netflix Favorites: Love

Netflix has indeed created a winning strategy for developing compelling television programming. They simply let creative minds do what they do best without interference of traditional network mumbo jumbo restrictions and input. What is the end result?

Quite frankly, some of the best programming available today.
One of his Judd Apatow's latest projects, Love, is no different. In this half hour single cam dramedy that stars Paul Rust, who plays Gus, an underdog-like protagonist who tries to navigate through the ups and downs of life while searching for that special someone. Apatow truly has a knack for creating depth within characters. Unlike many of the cliche love story rom-coms that have been produced over the years, this one takes a slightly edgy turn at times with fresh story angles while staying widely relatable and always entertaining. Most importantly, the writers make you express emotion and care about the characters....even Lily from the AT&T commercials who makes a few appearances.

If you haven't checked out "Love", please do so and enjoy. Look for Season 2 in early 2017.

Peace. Love. Forever.

Moving Mountains and Making Deals

You've got to respect UFC President, Dana White. The main focal point for the promotion since early spring has been the construction of the card for the UFC 200 event scheduled to go down tomorrow night in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena on Pay-Per-View. The road much to this premier event has been tumultuous and chaotic to say the very least, much like the entire calendar year for MMA's top promotion.

In March, the top of the card featured the highly anticipated rematch between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz which spawned from an impromptu bout in February, which saw Diaz upset "The Notorious One" in stunning fashion. After a number of issues, the fight was pulled and replaced by a rematch between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones, a bout that was scheduled to take place in April but fell through after Cormier went down with an injury. With just 72 hours before the iconic UFC 200 event, Jon Jones was pulled from the Championship bout after testing positive for a banned substance.

It looked as if all hope was lost for Cormier fighting at UFC 200 as he was without a opponent. UFC 200 had a huge dent left in it's lineup until Dana White, one of the top sports promoters of the century who took MMA out of the hallowed depths of the underground into mainstream popularity, worked yet again another miracle audible to save the card by bringing in longtime veteran and future Hall of Famer, Anderson "The Spider" Silva, with close to zero notice directly to Vegas for an incredibly intriguing matchup.

A major round of applause is due for Dana White and company for assembling one of the greatest cards in MMA history despite a roller coaster of issues controversial events.

Cheers to UFC 200!

Netflix Favorites: Master of None

Ok...So we all have those moments...

It is a mid-morning on a Saturday. You've planned an entire day filled with productivity. Before you dive into a task list of going to the grocery store, hitting the stair master at the gym or finally cleaning those old boxes of VHS tapes out of the basement, you might be tempted to look for a little creative inspiration within the Netflix button on your remote.

This happened to me a few weekends back. I stumbled across Aziz Ansari's new show, Master of None. While it normally takes a while for me to get overly invested in a show, this was a complete match made in heaven. This show was love at first sight. Watching this show was the equivalent of indulging in your favorite dish while sitting in your favorite chair.

If you are looking for an enjoyable comedy that fuses clever inside jokes and wittiness with a healthy dose of love drama, you will most likely enjoy Master of None. This half hour single cam comedy features fresh writing, relatable topics and the lovely Noel Wells. The chemistry between the main character's Dev and Rachel is a home run, in addition to the rest of the cast of very likable characters featured on this show.

This is definitely worth checking out if you haven't already. Season Two arrives in Spring of 2017.

A Source of Inspiration from 10,000 feet above Sea Level

This picture says it all. One of my all-time favorite views. The Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

Spending time out in Colorado reminded me of how small we actually are yet also reinvigorated me and reminded me of how we can make such a tremendous impact through hard work, perseverance and creativity. This year so far has been by absolute best year in regards to personal career achievements. I am incredibly excited for what the future holds. Whatever is holding you back from getting to that next step, keep pushing and strategizing a way to get there. I am confident that now is the greatest time for new opportunities. There is nothing that stands in the way of making a positive impact on the world. Dig deep and find your motivation.

What is your next move?

Enjoy the day!

Coffee Shop + Modern Twist

One of my absolute favorite things in the world is a delicious cup of coffee. To find a perfectly brewed blend with the perfect flavor is truly a work of art. When I am out and about, I am always searching for new places to try. When I was in the Pennington/Hopewell area of Central New Jersey, I came across a new spot called Sourland Coffee right off of Main Street in Pennington.

To me a great coffee shop experience goes beyond what is in the mug. The atmosphere plays a big factor as well. Sourland indeed had a tremendously enjoyable latte in addition to having a cool environment and atmosphere. The shop is designed very nicely with a very modern and sleek feel. I took a seat right in front their huge window overlooking the neighborhood and glanced at a magazine while taking in the sights of the community. I am always talking about finding new ways to get motivated and to seek out inspiration. A great place to do so is in a cool environment such as a coffee shop while sipping on a savory cup of joy.

If you are in the Central Jersey area, I highly recommend stopping into Sourland Coffee.

Enjoy the day. Cheers!
