Technology - What I will Need?

My field that I am pursuing is television and film production. To be successful in this field and to turn out a good product in this day and age you need to be able to utilize many different forms of hardware and software. The hardware that is required ranges from cameras to computers aswell as lighting equiptment. The hardware also includes microphones and other types of machinery. The software that is often listed in job descriptions includes Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro which are both high powered video editing software programs. Other types of software technology that would come in handy include Photoshop, After Effects, Audition, and Pro Tools. Photoshop is a program that allows you to do almost anything imaginable when it comes to editing photography. It also works great for making graphics for video. After Effects takes video editing to another level with the addition of animations and special effects. Audition and Pro Tools are used for editing audio.
