Perfect Your Craft

One of the most important things that I always talk about is perfecting your craft. To go more in to depth about what this means, I stress to everyone to not let unused talent go to waste. Everyone has a unique ability and everyone has potential to make the most out of that ability.

Ever since I was young, I've always had a love for entertaining people. Bringing joy to others has always driven me. Throughout high school and college, ive learned to combine my energy and love for creating and entertaining into writing and producing projects such as this website and several other projects over time such as my sports show in which I used to host and produce. I took the show and meshed it with comedic and entertaining aspects in a sort of hybrid genre to create a great show.

My girlfriend, Natalie, inspired me to do this website and blog. Her wonderful and creative talents have motivated me to once again to follow my dreams and ideas.

I have several new ideas in the works. I want to expand this site with a few affiliates and hope to have a new site dedicated to my production work. I am also looking into designing a Men's lifestyle website as well as designing an apparel line.

These are a few of my dreams. What are yours? Don't let an idea pass you by without trying it first. If you have a vision. Go for it. Even if it doesn't work out, you will at least know that you attempted something and you can feel good about that and move on to something else. Live life and maximize your potential. Have a great day!

The Little Things in Life

Today's society is loaded with stress. Everything is so fast paced with so little time to waste during the work week. Many people have little or no time to slow down and take a breather. For me as a senior in college, I always have a lot on my mind. What is the next step for me? The work field is in my direction with a possibility of obtaining a Master's degree someday. I am nervous like any other college senior, but I am confident and excited. The key is to keep an open mind and to focus your energy and take one step at a time. There are always a lot of things going on at once during college. Exams, essays, and other deadlines all seem to fall around the same time. Many of us students procrastinate. It is better to look at it from a different approach. Taking things one day at a time will limit the stress of multiple assignments and exams. If it is the weekend and you know that one essay is due on Monday and another is due on Wednesday, focus more on the upcoming one and as soon as the first one is finished or submitted, take a few hours to clear your mind before you move onto the next deadline. There are many different easy activities in which I enjoy to relax. I'll list a few below.

Take a Drive

Getting behind the wheel and heading down a scenic route in your car is a great way to gather your thoughts. Playing some relaxing music always helps while driving. I do a large amount of thinking while taking long drives. I am able to calm down and come up with new ideas.

When I have a few hours free, I like to go online and find a recipe that looks appetizing and make it. Something like Pasta Primavera or a Stir-Fry is always a good choice because they are both simple, filling, and healthy at the same time. It is always a confidence builder after making a good meal. If you are running short on time, a good breakfast in the morning always helps energize me. Something simple such as two eggs with bagel thins along with fruit or yogurt with a cup of coffee and a cup of orange juice always makes me ready for anything the day has to throw at me.

I always believe that laughter is indeed the best medicine. Nothing cheers me up more than something funny. A good way to unwind is to pop in a DVD, watch a favorite show, or go online and search for a funny video. Comedy, no matter what the situation, is always a solid stress reliever.

These three simple ideas are all ways to help us relax and focus. Keeping an open mind will help maximize your potential throughout the day. Taking things one task at a time will help bring everything together. Have a great day!

Welcome to My World

Welcome all to my official website. For those who do not know me, I am Carl R. Baus III. You can just call me Carl. For starters, I will tell you a little about myself. I am 21 years young and a senior at Rider University and I am one of the nicest people you will ever meet. My personality cannot really be described in a few words. I am very creative highly driven and for those who know me on a personal level know that I love to laugh and have fun but also know that I work hard and do not mess around when it comes time to be serious. I believe in the old-school way of making a name for yourself and working, earning, and climbing your way to the top and that anyone has the ability to achieve any position if they harness their energy enough toward their goals and pursue what they want in life. Everyone deserves respect. If you show respect, you should expect the same in return. Doing the right thing is the best way to go. I have been blessed in life. I have a wonderful family, great friends, the love of my life, Natalie, a proper education, and a job. I make an attempt to live everyday with an open mind and enjoy myself. Optimism is the key. Take advantage of every opportunity that you are given and your future will be bright. Have a great day.
