Finding an Entry Level Job

I have searched through multiple websites for the television field looking for entry level jobs and there is not much to choose from. The majority of entry level jobs in the media industry are internships which most of the time are not even paid. It is a tough field to get into. However once you have climbed the success ladder and gained some experience, there are a bunch of nice jobs such as producer, editor, and other executive level positions. I followed up the search with other media entry level jobs such as radio with a very similar result. Most jobs start as an internship or in need of some sort of experience. The other thing I noticed throughout my searches were that almost all of the jobs available in media were located in a big city such as New York. If someone is looking for an entry level position, I would recommend getting as many internships as possible and adding as much experience to their resume as they can after finishing college.
