New Doors to Open

This past week has been a hectic one. As it has been for the past few months, my future is always on my mind. Only a few months remain until I reach the real world. When I got started in college, I focused my attention heavily on television production. I wanted to produce and be my creative self until my elder years. About half way through my sophomore year, something sparked in my mind. I realized that with my high goal expectations I would have to push myself into a new gear. I figured that the formula for success can work by mastering multiple areas in addition to being in front the camera.

After a few years, my interests shifted from exclusively from television to the entire media business as a whole. In today's society, technology is so powerful and provides so many opportunities for people to do new things and a rapid speed. I began to study all aspects of media from advertising to radio, print, the internet, and other areas including television. I have an entrepreneurial mindset now and I absolutely love it. I believe that to build yourself and propel to where you would like to be, you have to learn everything that you can, be aware of your surroundings, and utilize your potential to the maximum.

With knowledge and a taste of multiple media areas, I feel that my goals are closer than I originally thought.
