Netflix Favorites: Master of None
Ok...So we all have those moments...
It is a mid-morning on a Saturday. You've planned an entire day filled with productivity. Before you dive into a task list of going to the grocery store, hitting the stair master at the gym or finally cleaning those old boxes of VHS tapes out of the basement, you might be tempted to look for a little creative inspiration within the Netflix button on your remote.
This happened to me a few weekends back. I stumbled across Aziz Ansari's new show, Master of None. While it normally takes a while for me to get overly invested in a show, this was a complete match made in heaven. This show was love at first sight. Watching this show was the equivalent of indulging in your favorite dish while sitting in your favorite chair.
If you are looking for an enjoyable comedy that fuses clever inside jokes and wittiness with a healthy dose of love drama, you will most likely enjoy Master of None. This half hour single cam comedy features fresh writing, relatable topics and the lovely Noel Wells. The chemistry between the main character's Dev and Rachel is a home run, in addition to the rest of the cast of very likable characters featured on this show.
This is definitely worth checking out if you haven't already. Season Two arrives in Spring of 2017.
